Wanted to pull this apart from the rest because this is more about district changes than the rest or update period.

I log in and all I see is politics flying, I change districts, people name calling Americans and back. People calling everyone jews with such poor grammar it has to be translated.

Why the need for this? If you needed to play with someone from another country it was always easy to use ID and drag others along. What I've seen so far is definitely not a good example of anything and if you ask me things worked fine so far.

Please explain this or change it back I do not wish to debate cultures or president bush or to insult anyone and the last thing I want is some 12 year old who thinks they know something to try and attack me.

Btw how do I report all these screenies?

But this first impression is horrible, I don't care how bored they get I still think some people need to learn to mind their mouth. How again do I report?

Yea I don't like the district update either much...but I imagine after a week or so everyone will migrate back to their usual server. Right now it's kind of like "OMG I CAN GO BOTHER THE AMERICANS/EUROPEANS LOLOLOLOL [insert insults here]"

Yes no more limit! One of the best things to happen in a long time, now i can play with friends all over with no problems!

Also agree this will settle down (the really stupid chat X vs Y) after a bit.
I'm very grateful for this change (once things settle down).

Final Fantasy XI has had Asia, US, Europe on the same servers, no matter what platform there on, PC, Xbox, PS2/3. All in the same game at the same time.

This move also have consolidate players, giving much more pug options and such.

yeah...just ignore it....or report those who offend or break the rules...simple as that...

as with anything new in this game it will get abused initially...they'll eventually get it out of their system or get banned. It's best just to ignore it till then.

I love district change.

And 12yr old kids insulting everyone else... wait, is that new, because I've seen it all the time. It happens more now because those kids 'discovered America' and think anyone cares. I for one am european and dont like american politics, but I don't play this game to discuss politics and insult everyone who disagrees with me. I'll flame those using Mending though

This is a great change - this should push up the population of all towns now (not split by region)..... I sure hope it does

i like the change as we now can play with anyone from anywhere and change over to the different continent districts when we want.

I saw the ridiculous banter also, but on the positive side, there is a larger pool of players to group with.
I was able to get a group much faster than normal for a few of the mission I did.
All in all, people will be people, ignore them and move on.
